Laura Goggin Photography

Laura Goggin is a New York City photographer focused on revealing the wonders of the natural world seemingly hidden within the urban landscape.

Her interest in urban wildlife was originally sparked by a close encounter with a red-tailed hawk as it ate a pigeon in a New York City park. From that moment onward, Goggin has sought to spotlight and celebrate the endurance of Nature in the urban environment.

Goggin's photographic work has been featured at the Museum of the City of New York and the New York Public Library, in the New York Daily News, New York Post, New York Press, Village Voice, DNA Info, Vogue Magazine, People Magazine, and mentioned in the New York Times. She has been a contributor to broadcast news segments regarding New York City wildlife on NY1, CBS New York and WNYC, and currently volunteers for Audubon NYC and the NYC Parks Department Wildlife Unit.
